One of Waiheke's most awarded reds. Estate-grown, the 2019 vintage (5*) was matured for 10 months in "mostly new oak barriques". Dark and dense, it is very youthful, with concentrated, plummy, spicy flavours, a hint of liquorice, fresh acidity and a rich, finely structured finish. Set for a long life, it should be at its best 2025 .
